European Discovery was founded to share our love of travel to Europe. After traveling for both business and pleasure in working in high-tech, we decided to leave all of that behind and to start a company that could bring the delight of traveling around Europe with a small group of people without having to plan the entire trip yourself.
If however, folks don’t end up taking a tour with us, we still want to pass on things we have learned about how to love travel in Europe and trying to avoid the headaches. Our base is in Portland Oregon and we always invite anyone there to contact us and we would be more than happy to meet up and help you with your trip over a glass of wine, coffee, lunch, dinner, etc. To try to reach a broader audience, we started this blog.
This blog will do two things. It will offer helpful travel tips to make your trip planning easier and the trip go smoother and it will follow our tours if you want to be an armchair traveler and follow us through our adventures.
